I ran in the rain this morning for the first time since I injured myself 2x before while running in the rain.\u00a0 I discovered my mistake!\u00a0 When I “rainrun” I used to change my stride and would over extend my lower legs causing me\u00a0to healstrike like a total running newbie.\u00a0 It HURT when I would do that…\u00a0 Part of my problem is that I REALLY LIKE RAINRUNNING!!!\u00a0 I ran my fastest 5.5mile this morning ever!\u00a0 7:45\/mi\u00a0according to Garmin!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Was that the best\u00a0part?\u00a0Hell NO!<\/p>\n
The best part was coming home, not in pain but in joy.\u00a0 The only thing I regret about this morning is that I had to stop!\u00a0 I am “sick”.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It only gets better…\u00a0 I had a unique encounter this morning as well!\u00a0 2x skunks!!!\u00a0 I guess they are nocturnal AND LOVE TO PLAY IN THE RAIN TOO…\u00a0 So we have 3\u00a0things in common then!! Weird…<\/p>\n
Last night instead of eating pancakes with my girls for dinner I had Pinole Oatmeal<\/a>.\u00a0 Yes I tried it as a result of reading Born To Run…\u00a0 It was pretty good!\u00a0 I felt full but not stuffed.\u00a0 Sarah said if I lose any more weight she’ll take me to a nutritionist!\u00a0 (Yes I am somewhat stable weight wise right now so no real worries YET).\u00a0 Then I made Pinole brownies to take to work.<\/p>\n I don’t understand why I am stable weight wise.\u00a0 I am not obsesive about my diet…\u00a0 I eat when I’m hungry and I don’t eat CRAP.\u00a0 I am trying to avoid sweets.\u00a0 I RARELY ever drink a soda (liquid calories are the worst!)\u00a0 I ate almost an entire can of mixed peanuts in the last 2 days!!!\u00a0 8 servings!\u00a0 180 calories per!\u00a0 Thats 1440 calories (granted I did dump a large handful into my co-workers hands since we have a mutual food sharing arrangment)<\/p>\n Enough of this long blog crap!\u00a0 Peace out my one reader (John, your awesome!)\u00a0 Guess I should share this blog with my family…\u00a0 Even if Brent thinks Google is the Great Satan who has come to initiate everyone into Dante’s various levels of hell on earth…\u00a0 Brent I love you Bro, but come on…\u00a0 Google is not something you wipe and flush! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I ran in the rain this morning for the first time since I injured myself 2x before while running in the rain.\u00a0 I discovered my mistake!\u00a0 When I “rainrun” I used to change my stride and would over extend my … Continue reading
